Resumen En sus inicios la producción de tequila utilizó diferentes especies de agaves, con el tiempo el Agave tequilana Weber se consolidó como especie única por presentar mejores características para su cultivo y producción de azúcares. La Barranca del Río Santiago es considerada como el lugar de origen de la planta de Agave tequilana y del proceso de elaboración de la bebida que hoy se conoce con el nombre tequila. A partir de lo declarado por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación la Ciencia y la Cultura, el paisaje agavero y las antiguas instalaciones industriales de tequila como patrimonio cultural de la humanidad. La caracterización espacial y temporal de la información climatológica y edáfica disponible para una región en particular permite comprender el tipo de manejo que los agricultores practican sobre sus cultivos, evaluar sus restricciones y posibles efectos en la producción y en el medio ambiente. El objetivo de este trabajo fue conocer las condiciones ambientales bajo las cuales se distribuyen las plantaciones actuales y potenciales del cultivo de A. tequilana en el Cañón del Río Santiago y de manera específica la parte que incluye el paisaje agavero. Se detectó que en la barranca más de 50% de las plantaciones de agave se localizaron en terrenos escarpados sin prácticas de conservación de suelo lo que provoca su pérdida y contaminación con agroquímicos al ecosistema barranqueño, considerado como un atractivo natural a conservar dentro del paisaje agavero.

Abstract In its beginnings the production of tequila used different species of agaves, over time Agave tequilana Weber consolidated itself as a unique species for presenting better characteristics for its cultivation and production of sugars. The Ravine of the Santiago River is considered the place of origin of the Agave tequilana plant and of the preparation process of the drink that is now known as Tequila. Based on what was declared by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the Agave Landscape and the Ancient Industrial Facilities of Tequila as cultural heritage of humanity. The spatial and temporal characterization of the climatological and edaphic information available for a particular region allows understanding the type of management that farmers practice on their crops, evaluating their restrictions and possible effects on production and the environment. The objective of this work was to know the environmental conditions under which the current and potential plantations of the A. tequilana crop are distributed in the Canyon of the Santiago River and specifically the part that includes the agave landscape. It was detected that in the ravine more than 50% of the agave plantations were in steep terrain without soil conservation practices, which causes its loss and contamination with agrochemicals to the ravine ecosystem, considered as a natural attraction to be conserved within the Agave Landscape.

ABSTRACT: Multiplex 330 (MX) is a portable, non-invasive fluorescence sensor that provides different multiparametric indices that are sensitive to the concentration of chlorophylls, flavonols, and anthocyanins on the leaf surface. This study investigated the use of these indices to assess the variability on free volatile composition of grapes (Vitis vinifera L.) in the field as well as other components of their quality potential in vineyards affected by iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC). Twenty non-irrigated Tempranillo/110 Richter vineyard subzones from non-affected to moderately affected by IDC were monitored in Ribera del Duero area (Spain) during two seasons. The results indicated that MX can characterize the spatial variation of leaf pigment concentrations, agronomic performance, and grape quality in vineyards affected by IDC. The MX indices measured at the leaf level close to harvest had better predictive values for the concentrations of free alcohols, volatile acids, C13-norisoprenoids, esters and acetates in the must than vine vigor, size or degree of technological maturity of the grapes. Our study demonstrates that the MX indices to estimate leaf pigment concentrations can be helpful to assess the technological maturity and free volatile composition of wine grapes in vineyards affected by IDC; nevertheless, the efficacy of the indexes may vary according to the year season.

RESUMEN Contexto: La prospección microbiológica de petróleo es una metodología ampliamente utilizada y se describe en muchos trabajos publicados, sin embargo en la minería de uranio (U) no es frecuente, si bien hay investigadores que se refieren a algunos microorganismos como Bacillus sp, los cuales se utilizan en biorremediación y podrían ser capaces de hacerlo en prospección. En este trabajo se propone una relación microbiológica para la prospección por U, hipotetizando que se verá afectada por la presencia de U profundo Nuestro objetivo principal es mostrar que la relación microbiológica formada por Bacillus sp /Mesófilos Aerobios Totales (B/TAM) se relaciona con la presencia de U y se puede utilizar como técnica complementaria para su prospección. Método: El muestreo de suelo fue realizado en un área de 600 Km2 en la cuenca Neuquina; Colonia Catriel, Provincia de Río Negro, Argentina. Para las determinaciónes de U espectrométrico, U total, U lábil y la microbiología, se muestrearon 62 sitios por duplicado y se estudiaron 8 pozos con diferente concentración de U en profundidad. Además, se analizaron la emanometría de Radón y las zoneografías de las concentraciones de U total, lábil y espectrométrico y de la relación microbiológica. Los resultados se sometieron a un análisis estadístico mediante análisis de componentes principales y regresión lineal. Resultados: Este trabajo muestra una lineal correlación estadística altamente significativa (R= 0,59 p< 0,002) entre la geomicrobiología en superficie y la concentración de U en profundidad. Conclusiones: Las investigaciones deben continuar vinculando otros elementos de la geoquímica y de la geofísica que podrían complementarse con esta técnica geomicrobiológica.

ABSTRACT Context: Microbiological prospecting for oil is a widely used methodology and is described in many published works. In uranium (U) mining it is not frequent, although there are some researchers who refer to some microorganisms as Bacillus sp, which are used in bioremediation and they could be able to do it in prospection. In this work we propose a microbiological relationship for prospection by U, hypothesizing that it will be affected by the presence of deep U. The main objective of this work is to show that the microbiological relationship formed by Bacillus sp /Total Aerobic Mesophiles (B/TAM) is related to the presence of U and it be able to use as complementary technique for prospection by U. Methodology: The soil sampling carried covers an area of 600 Km2 into oil-uraniferous Neuquina basin; it is near to the town of Colonia Catriel, Province of Río Negro, Argentina. Spectrometric U, total chemical U, labile U and microbiological determinations from 62 sites with sampling by duplicated and 8 wells with different U concentration in depth were studied. Furthermore, Radon Emanometry and Zoneograms of total, labile and spectrometric U concentrations and of the microbiological relationship were analyzed. Results were subjected to a statistical analysis using principal components and linear regression. Results: This work shows a highly significant statistical linear correlation between geomicrobiology on surface and U concentration in depth (R= 0,59 p<0,002). Conclusion: Research should continue to link other elements from geochemistry as well as geophysical characteristics that could be complemented with this geomicrobiological technique.

ABSTRACT: Water deficit and iron nutritional deficiency (iron chlorosis) are frequent environmental stresses affecting grapevine production in the Mediterranean region. The objectives of this work were (i) to study the combined effects of both stresses on aromatic profile of Tempranillo grapes, occurring simultaneously in the vineyard, and (ii) to evaluate the viability of foliar chlorophyll content at veraison (Chl) to early assess aromatic quality potential of grapes in those conditions. Twenty non-irrigated vineyard subzones (10 m × 10 m each), affected and non-affected by iron chlorosis, were monitored in Ribera del Duero Appellation of Origin (North-Central Spain) during two consecutive seasons. Factorial ANOVA was performed to study the effects of predawn leaf water potential and Chl measured at veraison on the must composition parameters and, specifically, on the concentrations of free and bound aromatic compounds. Water deficit tended to increase color intensity and extractable anthocyanin content of the grapes, whereas the incidence of iron deficiency enhanced total phenolic compound content within subzones with better water status. More water or iron stressed subzones restricted C6-alcohols contents than less stressed subzones. Without significant effects on vine vigor, yield or berry size, the incidence of iron chlorosis increased the concentrations of some specific terpenes, C13-norisoprenoids, volatile acids and volatile phenols. These results showed that low to moderate iron stress can have positive effects on grape aromatic quality, and demonstrated that Chl can be a useful tool in precision viticulture to map the aromatic potential within rainfed vineyards affected by iron chlorosis.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Urinary symptoms are the most frequent reason for pediatric consultation related to the urinary system during any time of the year and at any age. The arguments for the use or not of chemoprophylaxis to avoid recurrences are variable. Objective: Confirm the effectiveness of chemoprophylaxis to prevent recurrences of urinary tract infections in children aged 1 to 24 months. Methods: A quasi-experiment consisting of 58 patients admitted to the Children's Hospital of Holguín who met the inclusion criteria was conducted. The study variables were: number of recurrences, time of onset during observation, presence of recurrence, chemoprophylaxis, type of chemoprophylaxis, age, sex, isolated microorganism, predisposing factor, risk classification. We worked with 95% of reliability which meant that p values below 0.05 were considered significant. Processing was performed in the SPSS version 22.0 program. Results: From the 58 patients studied, only 6.9% had recurrence; of those who did not receive chemoprophylaxis none had recurrence and of those who received chemoprophylactic treatment, 4 had recurrence; so, having received or not chemoprophylaxis did not influence the appearance of recurrence and less after 18 months of a first urinary infection. Conclusions: The presence of recurrences after 18 months of a first urinary tract infection in children under 2 years of age is not a frequent event and it seems that chemoprophylaxis is not effective.

RESUMEN Introducción: Los síntomas urinarios constituyen el motivo de consulta pediátrica más frecuente en relación con el aparato urinario durante cualquier época del año y a cualquier edad. Los argumentos para el uso o no de la quimioprofilaxis para evitar las recurrencias, son variables. Objetivo: Verificar la efectividad de la quimioprofilaxis para prevenir las recurrencias en la infección del tracto urinario en niños de 1 a 24 meses. Métodos: Se realizó un cuasi-experimento conformado por 58 pacientes que ingresaron en el Hospital Pediátrico de Holguín que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Las variables de estudio fueron: número de recurrencias, momento de aparición durante la observación, presencia de recurrencia, quimioprofilaxis, tipo de quimioprofilaxis, edad, sexo, microorganismo aislado, factor predisponente, clasificación de riesgo. Se trabajó con 95 % de confiabilidad lo que significó que valores de p por debajo de 0,05 fueron considerados como significativos. Se realizó el procesamiento en el programa SPSS versión 22.0. Resultados: De 58 pacientes estudiados solo tuvieron recurrencia 6,9 %; de los que no recibieron quimioprofilaxis ninguno tuvo recurrencia y los que recibieron tratamiento quimioprofiláctico, 4 tuvieron recurrencia, por lo que haber recibido o no quimioprofilaxis no influyó en la aparición de recurrencia y menos después de 18 meses de una primera infección urinaria. Conclusiones: La presencia de recurrencias después de 18 meses de una primera infección urinaria en niños menores de 2 años no es un evento frecuente y parece que la quimioprofilaxis no es efectiva.

ABSTRACT Introduction: The symptomatology of urinary tract infection is variable in pediatric ages, therefore, there are typical and atypical clinical pictures due to multiple factors studied and defined but that offer difficulty for diagnostic confirmation. Objective: Identify the usefulness of the diagnostic parameters of urinary tract infection. Methods: Observational, analytical, case-control study in infants admitted with suspected urinary tract infection at "Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja" University Pediatric Hospital and admitted to the pediatric clinic service. The total sample were infants with suspected urinary tract infection and the sample was 191 patients who met the inclusion criteria. The variables used were age, sex, signs and symptoms, clinical factors, clinical forms, microbiological parameters, clinical parameters according to the presence of Rochester criteria and evaluation scales for bacterial infection and laboratory parameters. Results: The most important clinical variables associated with a urinary tract infection were: age less than three months, fever and non-enjoyment of breastfeeding; while laboratory variables were: anemia, leukocytosis, neutrophilia and elevated erythrosedimentation. Conclusions: A set of clinical parameters and laboratory studies useful in the medical care of children with urinary tract infection are identified. The form of febrile presentation is the specific characteristic of the disease and hematological and urinary sediment investigations are sources of diagnostic support.

RESUMEN Introducción: La sintomatología de la infección del tracto urinario es variable en la edad pediátrica, por ende, se presentan cuadros clínicos típicos y atípicos diversos debido a múltiples factores estudiados y definidos, que ofrecen dificultad para la confirmación diagnóstica. Objetivo: Identificar la utilidad de los parámetros diagnósticos de la infección urinaria. Métodos: Estudio observacional, analítico, de caso y controles, en lactantes ingresados con sospecha de infección urinaria en el Hospital Pediátrico Universitario “Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja” admitidos en el servicio de clínicas pediátricas. El universo fueron los lactantes con sospecha de infección del tracto urinario y la muestra fue de 191 pacientes que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Las variables utilizadas fueron la edad, el sexo, signos y síntomas, factores clínicos, formas clínicas, parámetros microbiológicos, parámetros clínicos según presencia de criterios de Rochester y escalas de evaluación para infección bacteriana y los parámetros de laboratorio. Resultados: Las variables clínicas más importantes asociadas a una infección urinaria fueron la edad menor de tres meses, la fiebre y el no disfrute de la lactancia materna, mientras que las de laboratorio fueron anemia, leucocitosis, neutrofilia y eritrosedimentación elevada. Conclusiones: Se identifica un conjunto de parámetros clínicos y estudios de laboratorio útiles en la atención médica del niño con infección urinaria. La forma de presentación febril es la característica especial de la enfermedad y las investigaciones hematológicas y del sedimento urinario son fuentes de apoyo diagnóstico.

RESUMEN Objetivo: El presente trabajo se basa en el monitoreo mediante emisión acústica de la herramienta de corte en un proceso de perforación de material geológico y la utilización de redes neuronales tipo Kohonen para la clasificación de la información. Metodología: La metodología consistió en la realización de una serie de perforaciones sobre una probeta construida con rocas tipo arenisca, caliza y pizarra, dispuestas en capas y consolidadas con una mezcla de cemento. El herramental utilizado para la perforación consistió en un cortador de dos filos de carburo de tungsteno (CT), de 65 mm de diámetro. El proceso completo fue monitoreado mediante un sistema de emisión acústica acoplado a la broca giratoria y a la probeta de ensayo. Posteriormente se correlacionó la emisión acústica con la estratigrafía de la perforación, se procesó y adaptó la información para entrenar y simular una red neuronal tipo Kohonen, que clasificó la información del proceso según el tipo de roca que se estaba atravesado con el cortador. Resultados: Los resultados muestran que la técnica de emisión acústica es sensible a los cambios de estratos durante la perforación de estos geo-materiales y que la instrumentación de la broca rotante brinda un buen canal de monitoreo de este proceso. En este se observan los transitorios de cambio de interfaces y el perforado estable mediante el análisis de parámetros de la emisión acústica como RMS, energía MARSE, rise time y frecuencia promedio. Conclusiones: La técnica de emisión acústica puede ser utilizada para el monitoreo del proceso de taladrado en la presente escala. El procesamiento de los parámetros de emisión acústica permitió entrenar y simular una red neuronal Kohonen que pueda clasificar diferentes etapas del perforado con un error de mezclado inferior al 5 %.

ABSTRACT Objective: This work is based on the Acoustic Emission (EA) monitoring of the cutting tool in a geological material drilling process and the use of Kohonen type Neural Networks for the classification of information. Methodology: The methodology consisted in the realization of a series of perforations on a specimen built with sandstone, limestone and slate rocks, arranged in layers and consolidated with a cement mixture. The tool used for drilling consisted of a double-edged Tungsten Carbide (CT) cutter, 65 mm in diameter. The entire process was monitored by an AE system coupled to the rotating drill and test specimen. Subsequently, the EA was correlated with the stratigraphy of the perforation, the information was processed and adapted to train and simulate a Kohonen type neural network, which classified the process information according to the type of rock that was traversed with the cutter. Results: The results show that the Acoustic Emission technique is sensitive to stratum changes during the drilling process of these geomaterials and that the instrumentation of the rotating drill provides a good monitoring channel for this process. In this, the change of interfaces of the interfaces and the stable drilling process can be observed through the analysis of acoustic emission parameters such as rms, MARSE energy, rise time and average frequency. Conclusions: The Acoustic Emission technique can be used to monitor the drilling process on this scale. The processing of the Acoustic Emission parameters allowed to train and simulate a Kohonen neural network that can classify different stages of the drilling process with a mixing error of less than 5%.

ABSTRACT: Although water deficit and iron deficiency chlorosis are common environmental stresses in the Mediterranean area, few data are reported in the literature on their effects on vineyards, when acting simultaneously. The main objective of this research was to study the combined effects of iron deficiency and water status on vigor, yield and fruit composition in rainfed vineyards. Moreover, the investigation aimed to evaluate the feasibility of using foliar chlorophyll content (Chl) and predawn leaf water potential (LWP), measured at veraison, to assess potential quality of grapes in the framework of precision viticulture. For this, 24 non-irrigated ‘Tempranillo’ vineyard subzones were monitored in Ribera del Duero (North-Central Spain) during three consecutive seasons (2011-2013). The analysis of variance and principal component analysis showed that malic acid concentrations of the must were impacted only by Chl, whereas total soluble solids and total acidity were mainly modified by LWP. Both water and iron status reduced yield and berry weight and had additive effects on extractable anthocyanin content in grapes, total polyphenol index and color density of the must. In all seasons, the ratio Chl/LWP had a better predicting value for quality parameters of these grapes than leaf area index, Chl or LWP individually. The present work demonstrates the potential interest of physiological indexes combining water status and foliar chlorosis as indicators of grape phenolic potential in rainfed vineyards affected by iron deficiency.

Resumen Contexto: La caracter¡zac¡ón geoquím¡ca de mater¡ales arqueológ¡cos de obs¡d¡ana o v¡dr¡o volcán¡co, ut¡l¡zado en el pasado para la confecc¡ón de herram¡entas lít¡cas, perm¡te trazar su procedenc¡a geológ¡ca e ¡nfer¡r formas de ¡nteracc¡ón y rangos de mov¡l¡dad de ant¡guas poblac¡ones humanas. La caracter¡zac¡ón de la compos¡c¡ón geoquím¡ca de la obs¡d¡ana por análisis de activación neutrónica perm¡te determ¡nar con un buen grado de cert¡dumbre su procedenc¡a; s¡n embargo, es una técn¡ca costosa y destruct¡va, por lo que no es recomendable para p¡ezas arqueológ¡cas. Otras técn¡cas más acces¡bles como la fluorescenc¡a de rayos X o la espectrometría de masas con plasma acoplado ¡nduct¡vamente han s¡do ut¡l¡zadas con éx¡to para esta apl¡cac¡ón pero con un mayor n¡vel de ¡ncert¡dumbre. En este trabajo se busca as¡st¡r al problema por med¡o del uso de otras técn¡cas no destruct¡vas que pud¡eran ser apl¡cables al patr¡mon¡o arqueológ¡co. Método: Se exploraron las prop¡edades mecán¡cas de una muestra de obs¡d¡ana a través de métodos de ultrason¡do. Se evaluaron la veloc¡dad de fase y atenuac¡ón de ondas long¡tud¡nales, y se cuant¡f¡có la dens¡dad de las muestras por picnometría de gases, que pos¡b¡l¡ta determ¡nar los módulos elást¡cos d¡nám¡cos. Además, se rep¡t¡eron las m¡smas med¡c¡ones en probetas de v¡dr¡o de manufactura ¡ndustr¡al. Resultados: Se observó que la veloc¡dad, la dens¡dad y el módulo long¡tud¡nal son mayores para la muestra de v¡dr¡o ¡ndustr¡al que para la muestra de obs¡d¡ana. Por otro lado, la atenuac¡ón resultó ser mayor para el caso de la obs¡d¡ana y se observó una mayor dependenc¡a con la frecuenc¡a. Conclusiones: Los resultados obten¡dos demuestran la capac¡dad del método para d¡st¡ngu¡r entre mater¡ales con compos¡c¡ón quím¡ca d¡ferente, por lo que sería v¡able para ser apl¡cado a estud¡os arqueológ¡cos. Además, las d¡ferenc¡as observadas en la atenuac¡ón muestran que el método tamb¡én es sensible a la microestructura del material, por lo que aportaría información no accesible mediante técnicas convencionales de arqueometría.

Abstract Context: The geochemical characterization of archeological materials of obsidian or volcanic glass (used in the past for the preparation of lithic tools) allows to trace origin and infer forms of interaction and ranges of mobility of ancient human populations. The characterization of the geochemical composition of obsidian by analysis of Neutron Activation allows to determine with a good degree of certainty its origin; however, it is a costly and destructive technique, not recommended for archeological pieces. Other more accessible techniques, such as X Ray Fluorescence or Mass Spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma have been used successfully for this application but with a higher level of uncertainty. This work seeks to provide solutions through the use other non-destructive techniques that may be applicable to archeological heritage. Method: The mechanical properties of an obsidian sample were explored through ultrasound methods. The phase velocity and the attenuation of longitudinal waves were measured, and the density of the samples was quantified with gas pycnometry, which makes it possible to determine the dynamic elastic modules. Additionally, the same measurements were repeated on glass samples of industrial manufacture. Results: It was observed that the speed, density, and longitudinal modulus were higher for the industrial glass sample than for the obsidian sample. Conversely, the attenuation was greater in the case of obsidian, and a greater dependence on frequency was observed. Conclusions: The results obtained demonstrate the ability of the method to distinguish between materials with different chemical composition; thus, it would be useful in archeological studies. Moreover, the differences observed in the attenuation show that the method is sensitive to the microstructure of the material, so it would provide information not accessible by conventional archaeometry techniques.

ABSTRACT: Exogenous ethephon and abscisic acid (ABA) treatments are used worldwide to improve the coloring of red table grapes, but there is little information about their impact on the quality of white grapes and wines. The aim of this work was to evaluate the effects of exogenous ethephon and ABA applications at veraison on the composition of ‘Verdejo’ white grapes, and on the quality of their wines. To attain this objective, a field trial was carried out in a ‘Verdejo’/110 Richter vineyard located in north-central Spain. Two levels of ethephon (0 and 1500 mg L−1) and ABA (0 and 800 mg L−1) were sprayed on clusters at veraison, in a factorial design for three consecutive seasons. Ethephon and ABA had additive effects, decreasing titratable acidity and increasing pH of the must, which could be exploited by accelerating the grape ripening process in cold-climate zones. Nevertheless, each growth regulator affected the composition and sensory analysis of the wines differently. Ethephon treatments produced wines with lower concentration of acids and better flavor quality than those made from untreated plants, while wines with ABA applications tended to have a higher ethanol concentration and poorer aroma quality than controls. The wines submitted to treatments with ethephon obtained the best overall evaluation in the sensory analysis throughout the trial.

ABSTRACT The study of ceramic-metal interface is of special importance in odontology area by the current demand about dental prostheses, so it is very important to be more and more similar to natural teeth and with a long service life. With the aim of assessing in detail the behavior of ceramic-metal interface used in dental restorations systems, in this work the adherence between ceramic (feldspathic porcelain) and metal (chrome-based alloys frequently used in odontology) is characterized through a non-destructive tests method called Acoustic Emission (AE). For this, samples were made under a Standard, with a Ni-Cr alloy substrate and feldspathic porcelain layer. The substrates were subjected to different surface treatments, such as sand blasting and thermal treatments, before applying the ceramic layer. These treatments take part of the manufacturing process and allow improving the bonding between porcelain and alloy. Each sample was tested under a specific Standard with bending on a three-point device until the ceramic became detached. The detachment was studied with AE in real time. The AE waveforms and the parameters load signal were obtained during the tests. The analysis of the AE signal waveforms was made by studying the events resulting from the most important moments of the interface-debonding process. In this case, waveform features of the AE signals were used, in particular a parameter proportional to the energy of the P waves in order to classify them as different conditions of adhesion.

RESUMEN El estudio de las interfaces ceramo-metálicas es de particular importancia en odontología dada la demanda actual de las prótesis dentales, cada vez más parecidas a las piezas dentales naturales y de vida útil extensa. El objetivo del presente trabajo es profundizar el estudio del comportamiento de éstas interfaces para sistemas de restauración dental y así caracterizar la adherencia del cerámico (porcelana feldespática) al metal (aleaciones de base no noble, como cromo (Cr) comúmente utilizadas en odontologia) por medio de la técnica de ensayos no destructivos denominada Emisión Acústica (EA). Para ello, se fabricaron probetas bajo Norma, formadas por un sustrato metálico, de aleación de NiCr y un depósito de porcelana feldespática. Parte de los sustratos de dicho grupo de probetas fueron sometidos a distintas combinaciones de tratamientos superficiales tales como arenado y tratamientos térmicos, previamente a realizar el depósito cerámico. Estos tratamientos forman parte del proceso de fabricación de las prótesis y ambos buscan optimizar la unión de la porcelana a la aleación. Cada probeta fue ensayada bajo Norma a la flexión en un dispositivo de tres puntas hasta producir el desprendimiento del cerámico, y se examinó dicho fenómeno a tiempo real a través de la EA. Durante estos ensayos se obtuvieron las formas de onda de la EA y sus parámetros. La señal de la carga aplicada permitió detectar y estudiar los parámetros más representativos para cada probeta. Se realizó el análisis de las formas de onda de las señales de EA, estudiando los eventos producidos en momentos relevantes del proceso de desprendimiento de la interfaz. En este caso se usaron características de la forma de ondas de las señales de EA, en particular un parámetro proporcional a la energía de las ondas P con el fin de clasificarlas para distintas condiciones de adherencia.

ABSTRACT Background: Immunization rates among medicine and nursing students -and among health professional in general- during hospital training are low. It is necessary to investigate the causes for these low immunization rates. The objective of this study was to design and validate a questionnaire for exploring the attitudes and behaviours of medicine and nursing students toward immunization of vaccine-preventable diseases. Methods: An instrument validation study. The sample included 646 nursing and medicine students at University of Oviedo, Spain. It was a non-ramdom sampling. After the content validation process, a 24-item questionnaire was designed to assess attitudes and behaviours/behavioural intentions. Reliability (ordinal alpha), internal validity (exploratory factor analysis by parellel analysis), ANOVA and mediational model tests were performed. Results: Exploratory factor analysis yielded two factors which accounted for 48.8% of total variance. Ordinal alpha for the total score was 0.92. Differences were observed across academic years in the dimensions of attitudes (F5.447=3.728;p<0.003) and knowledge (F5.448=65.59;p<0.001), but not in behaviours/behavioural intentions (F5.461=1.680;p<0.138). Attitudes demonstrated to be a moderating variable of knowledge and attitudes/behavioural attitudes (Indirect effect B=0.15; SD=0.3; 95% CI:0.09-0.19). Conclusions: We developed a questionnaie based on sufficient evidence of reliability and internal validity. Scores on attitudes and knowledge increase with the academic year. Attitudes act as a moderating variable between knowledge and behaviours/behavioural intentions.

RESUMEN Fundamentos: Las tasas de vacunación en estudiantes de Ciencias de la Salud que realizan prácticas en los contextos hospitalarios son bajas, al igual que en el colectivo sanitario en general, y es necesario explorar sus causas. El objetivo principal fue diseñar y validar un cuestionario para conocer las actitudes y las conductas de los estudiantes de medicina y enfermería sobre la vacunación de enfermedades inmunoprevenibles. Métodos: La muestra se compuso de 646 alumnos/as de medicina y enfermería de la Universidad de Oviedo, Asturias. El muestreo fue de tipo incidental. Tras un proceso de validación de contenido, se diseñó un cuestionario con 24 ítems que englobaba actitudes y conductas/intenciones de conductas. Se realizaron análisis de fiabilidad (alfa ordinal) y validez interna (análisis factorial exploratorio mediante el método de análisis paralelo), además de ANOVAS y un modelo mediacional. Resultados: El análisis factorial exploratorio arrojó una solución de 2 factores que explicó el 48,8% de la varianza total. El alfa ordinal para la puntuación total fue 0,92. Hubo diferencias según el curso en las dimensiones de actitudes (F5,447=3,728;p<0,003) y de conocimientos (F5,448=65,59;p<0,001) pero no en las conductas/intenciones de conductas (F5,461=1,680;p<0,138). Las actitudes fueron una variable moduladora entre los conocimientos y las conductas/intenciones de conductas (B efecto indirecto=0,15; SE=0,3; IC95% :0,09-0,19). Conclusiones: Se dispone de un cuestionario con suficiente fiabilidad y validez interna. Las puntuaciones en actitudes y conocimientos son mayores según el curso. Las actitudes actúan como variable moduladora entre los conocimientos y las conductas/intenciones de conductas.

Today it is unimaginable without internet or a world without communications. Information and communications technology (Social Media) has made it's way into the world of health. The patient is assuming a new role: that of active patient. It is a role that takes more initiative to learn about illness, become responsible for their own care and working together with healthcare professionals. The #FFpaciente project is a multidisciplinary collaborative initiative created with the intention of determining the Figure of the active patient in social networks and establishing a junction between health professionals and patients. Expanding this network of communications is beneficial to everyone.

Hoy en día es inimaginable un mundo sin internet o sin comunicaciones. Las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) se han abierto camino en el mundo de la salud. El paciente está adquiriendo un nuevo rol: el de paciente activo (1). Es aquel que se informa sobre su enfermedad, se responsabiliza de su cuidado y colabora con los profesionales sanitarios. La iniciativa #FFpaciente es colaborativa multidisciplinar creada con la intención de conocer la figura del paciente activo en redes sociales y establecer un punto de unión entre profesionales sanitarios y pacientes. Ampliando así la red de comunicaciones entre personas en beneficio de los pacientes.

In order to promote the teaching and learning of basketball from an educational perspective in the formative stages, Real Madrid Foundation Basketball Schools, through the research project entitled "For a REAL Education: Values and Sport", has developed a series of teaching materials available to assist coaches and players develop the practice of basketball in the best educational context. These materials offer coaches the opportunity to improve their quality as teachers, both in training and competition, including the educational values in daily practice, making also participants the players and their families. The main objective of this study, after several seasons of project development, has been analyzed the use that the coaches make from the different didactic materials. The study population was 15 basketball coaches from Real Madrid Foundation Basketball Schools, with an average experience of 4.7 years. These teachers have trained a total of 580 male and female players from the youngest categories, U10, U12, U14 and U16. The instrument used was a questionnaire designed expressly with questions related to the study objective. The results indicate that most used material, to be considered useful, it has been a manual book called "Introduction to Basketvalues" (68%); followed by the "White Card" program (41%) and the paper "Quarterly Player Assessment" (38.5%).

Com a intenção de promover o ensino e aprendizagem do basquetebol sob o ponto de vista educativo nas etapas de formação, as Escolas de Basquetebol da Fundação Real Madrid, através do projeto de investigação denominado "Por uma educação REAL: Valores e Desporto", elaborou uma série de materiais didáticos que permitem ajudar os treinadores e jogadores a desenvolver a prática do basquetebol no melhor contexto educativo. Estes materiais oferecem aos treinadores a possibilidade de melhorar a sua qualidade como docentes, tanto nos treinos como a nível de competição, incluindo valores educativos na prática diária, envolvendo os jogadores e as suas famílias. O objetivo principal deste estudo, depois de várias temporadas no desenvolvimento do projeto, consiste em analisar o uso que os treinadores fazem dos diferentes materiais didáticos. A população visada foram 15 treinadores das Escolas de Basquetebol da Fundação Real Madrid, com uma experiência média de 4,7 anos. Estes docentes treinaram um total de 580 jogadores e jogadoras das categorias de Infantil, Iniciado, Juvenil e Júnior. Como instrumento utilizou-se um questionário desenhado ex profeso com perguntas vinculadas ao objetivo do estudo. Os resultados indicam que o material mais usado, por ser considerado muito útil, foi o livro-manual denominado de "Iniciação ao Basquetevalor" (68%); seguido do programa "Cartão Branco" (41%) e ao documento de "Avaliação Trimestral" (38,5%).

Con la intención de promover la enseñanza y aprendizaje del baloncesto desde una perspectiva educativa en las etapas de formación, las Escuelas de Baloncesto de la Fundación Real Madrid, a través del proyecto de investigación denominado "Por una Educación REAL: Valores y Deporte", ha elaborado una serie de materiales didácticos que permitan ayudar a los entrenadores y jugadores a desarrollar la práctica del baloncesto en el mejor contexto educativo. Dichos materiales ofrecen a los entrenadores la posibilidad de mejorar su calidad como docentes, tanto en los entrenamientos como la competición, incluyendo los valores educativos en la práctica diaria, haciendo también partícipes a los jugadores y sus familias. El objetivo principal de este estudio, después de varias temporadas de desarrollo del proyecto, ha sido analizar el uso que los entrenadores hacen de los diferentes materiales didácticos. La población de estudio ha sido 15 entrenadores de la Escuelas de baloncesto de la Fundación Real Madrid, con una experiencia media de 4,7 años. Estos docentes han entrenado a un total de 580 jugadores y jugadoras de las categorías benjamín, alevín, infantil y cadete. El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario diseñado ex profeso con preguntas vinculadas al objetivo del estudio. Los resultados indican que el material más usado, por ser considerado muy útil, ha sido un libro-manual denominado "Iniciación al Valorcesto" (68%); le siguen el programa "Tarjeta Blanca" (41%) y el documento de "Evaluación Trimestral" (38,5%).
